I have recently discovered a new author who I am now absolutely enamored with. He is Stieg Larsson. The first book I read was THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO and I loved it. Now I am on to the second in the series, THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE. The last one, THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNETS NEST, I am waiting for it to come out in paperback. Sadly, this author passed away shortly after submitting all 3 books to be published. He was a phenomenal author and story teller.
I realize that I haven't posted in quite some time. This is for several different reasons. The first one being that I don't want to force myself to blog, because then it will not be a pleasurable experience for me and I won't want to do it at all. The second one being that some very emotional things have happened in the past few weeks and I was just not ready to talk or write about them. I'm still not, but I will in my own good time. The third reason being that the boys have been taking up the computer most of my waking hours!
Speaking of the boys, here is an update on them. Jacob and Ian are learning to type and are progressing at an impressive pace. They are maturing so fast, becoming young men right before my eyes! Where are my babies? I know they are not gone, they are just hidden under the surface now. I'll never forget their chubby little faces, their from the belly baby laughter, and toothless grins. Their eyes are the same, however. That is the only feature of the human face that doesn't change as we age. Justin is still Justin. I've never met a more inquisitive child. He wants to know everything about everything. Not just little things either, it's quite easy to get into a philosophical debate with him on how the universe was created! LOL :) I encourage such thinking in him. I hope he never stops asking questions.
